Concerned citizens and scrapple lovers, head over to the Tenth Presbyterian Church (1700 Spruce St.) tonight at 7 p.m. for a public meeting to try and stop the proposed demolition of iconic Little Pete's Diner at 219 South 17th St. The legendary diner is slated to be torn down to make way for a swanky boutique hotel, and after-hours diners and a certain well known comedian are none too pleased. So if you'd like to make sure that you can get your 3 a.m. rueben sandwiches and middle of the night breakfasts at Pete Koutroubas' diner, we suggest that you make an appearance at tonight's meeting.
