There are plenty of great deals to be had between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. but we're pretty sure that Kensington Quarters (1310 Frankford Ave.) is the only place where you can get happy hour cocktail and butcher deals. The Fishtown butcher-kitchen classroom-restaurant kicked off their truly unique happy hour yesterday and they're running specials at both the bar and the butcher.
Here's the deal: From Tuesday to Friday they're going to be offering $1 off all tap wine and beer and ground meat, 50% off a rotating bartender calls it cocktail and $2 off a butcher calls it cut of the day. Today's specials are a vodka and Cocchi Americano cocktail for $5.50 and $2 off some very good looking short ribs.
