Openings: Bookbinder's

Jose Garces has had his hands on the original (and way historic) Bookbinder's space at 125 Walnut Street for a while now and it looks like he's opening up shop on New Year's Eve. The full space isn't quite ready but The Olde Bar is being revamped by Dash Design. They've also remodeled additional rooms in the space to accommodate private events for up to 200 people.

The Olde Bar won't officially open until the end of January but if you'd like to ring in the New Year Garces style they're hosting a party there from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. with all kinds of swanky offerings. The $195 tickets get you access to an open bar with speciality cocktails, beer, wine and Champagne (obviously) plus a raw bar, clam boil and carving and slider stations with mini Village burgers and lobster rolls. Entertainment is coming from The York Street Hustle, a 10-piece Motown and soul outfit. Get your tickets right here, we're betting that this is going to be one serious New Year's Eve party.
