Openings: V Street

Our buddies over at Eater Philly got a sneak peek at the menu for Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby's soon to open vegan street food spot, V Street (126 S. 19th St.). The globally inspired spread is influenced from cuisines near (Italian Market Olives with Calabrian chiles and long hots) and far (Zucchini "Dan Dan" Noodles with soba, red chile and Thai basil). Going into the chillier months there are two hot pots featuring mushroom congee with pho jus and a kimchi stew with pickled tofu. Jacoby has put together a super solid wine list and the cocktail line up is looking absolutely stellar with a pisco cocktail that mixes two types of corn — chichi morada, a Peruvian corn drink and popcorn. Expect doors to open before the end of the month and head on over to Eater for the full menu
