V Street (126 S. 19th St.), the vegan bar concept from Vedge owners Richard Landau and Kate Jacoby opened quietly last week sans liquor license. Instead postponing the opening any longer they decided to soft open offering complimentary beer and wine, a move that's both business savvy and pretty classy. Good news is that the license landed over the weekend and now V Street is serving up their full menu of international street food-inspired vegan fare plus some absolutely killer cocktails.
