'Just took a Viagra with no where to go:-(' and other gems from people who hoped protesters would get run over last night
Also: 'Im eating pizza alone on a friday night.'
As you may have heard, last night's Eagles game was the site of a die-in protest. Protesters blocked traffic leaving the stadium after the Eagles lost to the Seahawks by lying down in the street en masse for 4.5 minutes, a reference to the 4.5 hours Michael Brown's body lay on a street in Ferguson.
And, of course, people were not pleased. Sports Twitter dude Fansince09, whom you may remember from this whole thing, noted that one of his followers had tweeted a screenshot of something his guidance counselor had posted on facebook, and retweeted it:
Please let Central Bucks school district know one of their guidance counselors said this pic.twitter.com/oug2SBSQPh
— FanSince09 (@FanSince09) December 7, 2014
And things happened:
Hey folks, CB a superintendent has been notified and is not happy. No need to harass, he is responsive and taking care of it.
— FanSince09 (@FanSince09) December 7, 2014
Once again, CB counselor issue is being taken care of. School admins know and are dealing with it. We can stop emailing and calling.
— FanSince09 (@FanSince09) December 7, 2014
And there was a whole lot more stuff than that threatening protesters, or expressing the hope that they would be assaulted or run over. "Who the hell are these people?" we wondered. And so we checked some of them out. Actually, we kind of felt better after looking some of these people up, because many seemed deeply unhappy and/or lonely and/or into the Foo Fighters, which sort of offers a contrast to the idea that there's a ton of average, everyday people out there who hope people die as a result of a protest that delays traffic after a football game for 10-15 minutes.
And so we present: Tweets hoping protesters would be run over juxtaposed with earlier tweets from the same person!
Let's start with RodFitz1954, tweeting from Wallingford, Pa.:

There's obviously a problem with the justice system in out counter. #EricGarner was unjustifiably murdered.
— chris (@cd28_) December 4, 2014
"I can't breath" is by no means a threatening statement. He was looking for cigarettes, there's nothing threatening about that.
— chris (@cd28_) December 4, 2014
I just want a reason on why the police officer wasn't charged for murder.. That's all.
— chris (@cd28_) December 4, 2014
This isn't a race card issue either. Can't stand when people pull that bullshit.
