Billy Penn: "SEPTA has now installed 25 percent of its new digital system," reports Anna Orso. SEPTA's pace for installing its new digital turnstiles around Philly has apparently quickened. While SEPTA wouldn't confirm a launch date for its new digital system, Orso does the math and predicts, at its current pace, SEPTA's new system will be ready by April.
Technical.ly Philly: Forget Shake Shack. The initial public offering to be aware of is the one from Spark Therapeutics, which "aims to cure rare genetic diseases like types of hemophilia and blindness," writes Juliana Reyes. The startup raised $161 million in its IPO on January 30.
