Central Park continues to be hot spot for Pokémon GO

The south east corner entrance to Central Park continues to be a hot spot for Pokemon.  There are 5 Poké stops near the entrance that are usually all activated with lure modules which allows users to easily catch and grow their XP and possibly catch a rare Pokemon.

We found at least 100 players near the park entrance at 5pm trying to catch em all.

If this all sounds foreign to you, here is a a quick explanation to the game basics:

  • Pokémon Go is an app game that can be downloaded for your mobile device

  • A game player is called a Pokémon Trainer and the object of the game is to catch all 147 creatures that are called Pokémon.

  • Pokémons can be found anywhere including inside a home, on the streets near the water etc. To catch a Pokémon you throw a Pokéball at a creature by sliding your finger up to throw the ball when a Pokémon appears.
