Childbirth Teacher Certification Training

We are holding a training in the greater Philadelphia Area (specific location TBD) on June 3 from 1 pm-6pm, June 4 from 9am-6pm, and June 5 from 9am-3pm, with 1 hour meal breaks. This training will be taught by Baby Steps owner and teacher Susie Miles. In addition to the training, you will have to complete an application, required reading, and a test before you begin teaching. The training will include 15 hours of education in childbirth, as well as how to teach the Baby Steps curricula. The final day will include training on marketing, logistics, and the Baby Steps website, followed by the test itself. Once all the components are completed and the test passed, you will be able to start teaching immediately. If you have not finished the required reading ahead of the training, you will have to certify it’s completion before you begin to teach.
