Google map shows 40,000 vintage photos of New York

A Brooklyn programmer has created Old NYC, an interactive Google map containing more than 40,000 images, that lets you explore the streets of New York from the mid-1800s.
Photos from the New York Public Library's extensive Milstein Collection have been added to the Google map to view vintage photos in that area.
