Maker Mayhem

Join the Abington Art Center and Penn State Abington on Sunday, May 22nd from 11-3pm as we celebrate the opening of a brand new makerspace at the Abington Art Center. We’ve invited artists, engineers, tinkerers, and designers from across your community to share their passion and help us celebrate. Make electronic jewelry, dye fabric with natural indigo, listen to artists and maybe even use a laser cutter. Stop by the woodworking station and use saws, drills and hammers to make your own wooden masterpiece. And, of course, check out the 3D printer, vinyl cutter, sewing machines, and all of the great tools in the makerspace. Admission to this event is free and is designed for makers of every age. Some activities may include a nominal fee. Donations Welcomed
