Marine Corps Reserve celebrates their 100 year anniversary in Times Square
Today, August 29th 2016, marks the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. The Marine Corps Reserve was founded in 1916 when President Woodrow Wilson signed a bill authorizing a reserve force in support of combat missions in World War I.
The Reserve is celebrating their centennial in Times Square highlighting the reserve's history and paying tribute to these brave men and women.
