News Corp flag seen upside down at 8:33 am Thursday morning

The flags at the corner of the News Corp headquarters building, located on 1211 Avenue of the Americas, were on display with one major flaw, the News Corp flag was upside down as of 8:33 am this morning. Was this an action from a protestor or just an epic fail?

When we contacted News Corp regarding the upside down flag they commented that they were unaware that the News Corp flag was upside down.
