The NYPD facebook page posted that officers from 62 Precinct delivered a baby in front of the Brooklyn station house Sunday evening. The officers were approached by a woman who rushed into the precinct stating her niece was in labor in their car. Police Officers Mike Lunetta and Mathew Brady rushed to the car that was outside of the precinct and were met by the woman who was in active labor.
Officer Lunetta knew it was time for the woman to push as he could see the baby's head. The mother started to push while Officer Lunetta delivered the baby and handed him to Officer Brady who was waiting to care for the newborn. EMS workers arrived and took the mother and baby Noor to a local hospital where both are doing great.
Great job to the NYPD again.
