The NYPD released a video on the eve of the 15th anniversary of 9/11 that focuses on one of the most iconic stories of hope as told by three officers who survived.

The officers helped rescue two Port Authority officers, Sgt. John McLoughlin and Officer Will Jimeno, who became trapped in the rubble of the World Trade Center after going in to help people escape from the buildings during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
