Officers from the 45 Precinct responded to a 911 call Monday of a woman living in her car. After the officers arrived at Edison Avenue and Middletown Road they witnessed 22 dogs also inside the small truck with a 54-year-old woman. After speaking with the woman, it was determined that she was emotionally disturbed and she was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Many officers from the 45 Precinct volunteered their time and resources to help nurse the dogs to health and help place them.
